100 Days of “Gotro”: All My Love to the Viewers
Nothing motivates me more than the appreciation of the viewers and my fans. As an actor, I feel rewarded when my movies get the love and support of the audience.
Gotro’, my latest Bengali movie with the inspirational director duo Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, has got overwhelming response. The movie has just celebrated its 100 days in theatres.
Every milestone is important and 100 days of ‘Gotro’ is a remarkable one. Not only to me, but to the whole cast and crew of “Gotro”, a pretty relevant event to celebrate.
According to me, there is a strong reason behind the success of this movie. At this point of time, our society seriously needs moral boost. A large number of people needed a reminder of the religious beliefs exist to make the bond between people stronger. Rather than creating conflict based on religious beliefs, we must carry them to make the society a beautiful happy place.
The movie also gives a message that unity and the support of a family can make anyone a confident person to shrug off his negative self and discover his better version.
Like any other movie of Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, “Gotro” is a pure blend of love and compassion which definitely comes with a quality that aspires. All my co-stars have done wonderful job. The onscreen chemistry between me and Manali got a great response. Everyone embraced the motherly presence of Anusua Majumdar.
Last but not the least, it is the positive feedback of the audience that has made others curious about the movie and as a result, “Gotro” got the ultimate love that we actually craved for.
